Official Backing
Officially Supported by the Municipality of Vieste
Vieste Parkour is proudly backed by the Municipality of Vieste — the local government of the city itself. This isn’t a private event dropped into a town that doesn’t know it’s happening. The city of Vieste has officially endorsed the event, partnered on its organization, and opened its streets, plazas, and landmarks as the stage. The Municipality recognizes Vieste Parkour as a key vehicle for bringing international tourism, media attention, and cultural energy to the Gargano region.
The event is also supported by GarganoTV, the regional broadcaster for the Gargano coast, ensuring local and regional media coverage throughout the week.
When a city puts its name behind an event, it means something. Vieste has.

The Stage
An Ancient City
A Living Course
For centuries, Vieste has been claimed by empires, navigated by pirates, and carved into the white limestone cliffs of Italy’s Adriatic coast. Now, every September, it belongs to a different kind of conqueror.
The rooftops of the old town are already a course. The narrow alleys are already a race. The coastal bluffs are already a challenge that most wouldn’t dare attempt. We just show up, set the rules, and let the city do the rest.
Vieste Parkour transforms one of Italy’s most stunning seaside villages into an open-air arena — and for seven days, the streets pulse with a different kind of energy.

The Story
Why Vieste?
Vieste Parkour was born from a simple idea: that this town — this specific, spectacular, ancient town on the edge of Italy’s Adriatic coast — deserves to be seen by the world.
Organized by Maurizio Tangari, originally from Vieste, this event exists not just to host great parkour, but to put a spotlight on one of Italy’s most extraordinary destinations. Every year, athletes from across the globe arrive in Vieste and leave changed by it.
In partnership with the Municipality of Vieste, the event is built on the belief that movement, culture, and community can transform a place. That’s the mission. That’s the event.
September 21–27, 2026. We’ll see you on the rooftops.
